Charton Mubanga started out as a courier and chauffeur for Dash Couriers in Zambia in 2013. He was assigned to MultiChoice as a driver and one of his duties included making deliveries to all the Lusaka branches.

The M-Net Magic in Motion Academy is an annual internship programme that is aimed at giving tomorrow’s filmmakers a rare head start. Every year, a new crop of filmmaking graduates is chosen to be mentored and moulded into trailblazing storytellers to add to the small pool in our local entertainment industry.

There’s no such thing as impossible

Johannes started working for MultiChoice as a security guard in 1994. When he moved to the reception area, he met a MultiChoice receptionist, Vicky Knights, who would give him the first push towards reaching for something bigger.

Building a better world

Daphne Mashele is a spirited woman who is the sole caregiver of her two grandchildren, Samkelo (10) and Lebo (9). She has managed to provide them with all the love and care they need in their young lives. But the house they called home belied the warmth of Daphne’s family.
